Mrs Obama’s Charity Online Bingo Game
Barack Obama is now only a few short days away from his inauguration as the President of the United States of America and his stepmother has been busy over in the UK setting up her very own charity online bingo room with Gala Bingo, in aid of helping them to raise as much cash as they can for their choosen charity, Sue Ryder Care. Kezia Obama is a big bingo fan and she will soon be jetting off to Washington DC to be with her stepson and other members of the family to take part in all the Obama family celebrations that will be taking place next week.
Bingo loving, Mrs Obama’s charity Bingo room is set to feature at Gala Bingo Online between 14th and 23rd January, where players will be able to take part in one hour of Obama bingo between 8pm and 9pm during the week and from 7pm to 8pm of a weekend. Every £1 spent by Gala Bingo Players in this Charity Obama bingo room, Gala Bingo will be donating 10p to Sue Ryder Care and this could really top up the fund for this very worthwhile charity indeed.
Mrs Obama said: “I am delighted to help galabingo.com raise funds for the Sue Ryder Care charity. It is a really positive way of celebrating Barack’s Inauguration. And I am very excited about seeing Barack again in Washington.”
The Sue Ryder Care Charity was selected to be their choosen charity after an overwhelming vote by the Gala Coral employee’s back in July 2008 and they are aiming to raise £1 million pounds for them by 2010, through a number of different initiatives. The support now given to Gala Bingo in their charity plight, should help them on along their way somewhat.
Chief Executive at Sue Ryder Care, Paul Woodward, said: “It’s great news that Mrs Obama has decided to lend her support to help raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Care.
