With this in mind we have conducted an interview with the team behind Jackpotjoy Bingo to find out what the past 7 years of online bingo has been like, plus full details of just what they have got in store for their birthday celebrations.
What do you think has been the most significant change in online bingo from when Jackpotjoy Bingo first launch on the internet 7 years ago?
We always knew that Online Bingo was the future, but I don’t think anyone could have expected that it would have become as big as it is. The UK just loves the net and we’re proud to say we’re amongst the market leaders. Because there’s a lot more competition these days, which is always a good thing, but of all the years of Jackpotjoy’s history we’re expecting this year to herald the biggest changes.
Jackpotjoy Bingo are one of the most established and longest running bingo sites on the net, so can you tell us what has been the biggest ever win to date at your online site?
The biggest win we’ve ever had was £1,365,996 – that’s £1.3 million pounds to everyone else – it was won on our Deal or No Deal game, by a market stall holder. He was a fantastic guy who told us this brilliant story about him and his wife sharing the Only Fools and Horses dream … you know: ‘This time next year – we’ll be millionaires!’
The biggest Bingo win was £185,942, which is still something special. It was won with a pre-bought ticket as well. I think the winner was about to go to work when he checked and … well, I don’t think he went in that day!
What will your 7th Bingo Birthday Celebrations hold for your lucky online bingo players?
We’ve got so much going on! We plan on making more winners this month than ever before! Each week we’ve got another star prize to focus on – the first week we’re giving away 7 Home Entertainment Systems each day, the next week it’s holidays, then cars then 7 lots of £1,000 cash each day.

How will Jackpotjoy Bingo be moving forwards over the next year?
A year? That’s too long. But the next few months are going to be HUGE! I can’t even explain how much excitement there is around the office. I’m sworn to secrecy as to exactly what’s happening is, but … well, you’ll have to wait and see. More than anything though we’re going to be much more flexible and much more able to give our members what they want. We know that Jackpotjoy Bingo are a bit like a bingo site and casino site all rolled into one as you sure have a huge array of games on offer, so can you give our readers a rundown of some of your top games currently being played?
We do have a lot of games – and we’re always adding more. SNAP! has been one of the most successful games we’ve ever launched and Monopoly SNAP! has just blown us all away – there are so many ways to win. I think seven in ten games end with a win of sorts which is great.
Other than that, Roulette Splendide is just gorgeous and that’s been really popular since we launched it at Christmas; and the new Ultimate Video Poker games have hit the ground running.
But people still love Houdini and Tiki and the Full House Bingo Rooms. Sometimes you just can’t beat a classic.
What kind of bonuses do you offer bingo players?
