Bucky Bingo Support Breakthrough Breast Cancer
Bucky Bingo has agreed a two year partnership deal with the charity Breakthrough for Breast Cancer. While they will be raising funds for this great cause all year round the official fund raising week was the 18th -24th October and Bucky Bingo have nearly risen over £18,000 and still have money coming in. Bucky Bingo hopes to raise more than £20,000 by the end of the year.
Andy Cunningham, CEO of Bucky Bingo, said, “We are delighted to be supporting Breakthrough for Breast Cancer because of the great work it does in its field. I am very confident that Bucky will far exceed the total we have set for ourselves and I am so pleased the way the staff have bought into the fund raising.”
To raise the funds managers and Staff took part in themed activities and events such as Didsbury Assistant Manager, Mark Winrow, doing a 22 mile sponsored walk wearing a pink top hat and tail; joined by other members of Didsbury staff.
Buckingham, the offline division of BuckyBingo.co.uk, will continue to raise funds all year round for the charity. Players can Breakthrough lapel badges to show their support and between now and Christmas there will be a number of auctions taking place in the land based clubs; Bucky are confident that the £20,000 target will be greatly surpassed this year.
It was great to hear that bucky bingo both offline and online will be supporting such a worthwhile cause for the next two years and we wish them good luck in smashing through their fundraising target.
