Saleswoman Lynn Barnes, who is 58, a married mum and lives in Blackpool was given a 15 month jail sentence this week after reportedly stealing more than £30,000 from her clients. The money was said to have been spent in just two days on paying loans and playing bingo at various online bingo sites which are said to have included Tombola Bingo.

Mrs Barnes had allegedly taken 2 payments from two different clients who thought that they were paying their final installments for property’s that they had purchased. One amount was for £23,720,47 and the other £7122.24. When one of them never received confirmation of their payment they contacted the police and their investigation begun – which led to the arrest and conviction for fraud of Lynn Barnes.
